TV star Jake Quickenden has confirmed he's engaged to Danielle Fogarty in a sweet Instagram post.
The former X Factor contestant took to social media to announce that he's popped the question to his girlfriend of three years, Danielle Fogarty, and she said yes!
Posting a picture of the two in a spread for HELLO! magazine, Jake wrote: 'So so happy to finally be able to announce.... she said yes @danielle_fogarty1 here's to an amazing future together, I will always have your back and I love you so much ❤️!!'
The two lovebirds, who plan to tie the knot in 2019, opened up about the proposal to the publication, explaining that Jake actually didn't get to ask the question because he got so emotional.
'I had a whole speech prepared, but as soon as I opened the ring box I was blubbing and I couldn't speak', he said.
'I didn't even ask Danielle to marry me, but luckily she said 'Yes' when she saw the ring – and then she started crying too.'
Danielle didn't mind that she didn't get properly asked though, and revealed the moment was 'perfect'.
'Even though you didn't say anything, I knew that this was the moment I'd been dreaming of. It could not have been a more perfect moment', she told the mag.
The singer proposed to Danielle on the day of his birthday, on 3 September, at his favourite wine bar.

Jake and Danielle met at the I'm a Celebrity… afterparty, after Danielle's dad, Carl Fogarty, was crowned king of the jungle.
'From the moment we met, I knew I'd propose one day and I chose to do it on my birthday because I knew I could get away with being a bit sneaky,' he said.
Speaking on Lorraine last year, Jake said he would ask for Carl's permission before asking Danielle to marry him: 'When it comes round to it, I will. I'm a bit old fashioned like that. I think you've got to, haven't you?'
And it turns out he meant it, as he also confirmed to HELLO! that he went to Carl before asking Danielle to marry him.
'I said, "I know I eat all your food but I'll always be there for Dan and I'd love to marry her",' he joked.
