Kate greets Obamas in high street dress

A tanned Duchess of Cambridge wows in a high street dress on her first official engagement since the Royal Wedding

She’s just returned from her honeymoon in the Seychelles, but the new princess is already undertaking royal duties. Luckily, Kate hasn’t let go of her ‘common’ roots just yet as she met with US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle wearing a dress from high street shop, Reiss.

Prince William and Princess Catherine welcomed the Obamas along with the Queen and Prince Philip at Buckingham Palace, where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Barack and Michelle Obama spoke for 10 minutes during their state visit to Britain.

The camel dress Kate wore is from Reiss and costs a mere £175 (OK, we mean mere for a royal, not for us). It’s called Shola and also comes in blue.

The Duchess of Cambridge was looking very tanned and slim at Buckingham Palace after her honeymoon. We can’t wait to see what she’ll be wearing for her next royal engagement…
