'I deserved to go through that pain' Kieran Hayler reveals HUGE tribute tattoo to Katie Price

Well, that's one way to say sorry...

Katie Price's husband Kieran Hayler has revealed a very, erm, unique tattoo that sees his wife illustrated as an angel.

Placed on his lower leg, Kieran says the black and white ink, hand drawn by Tattoo Fixers artist Jay Hutton, is a tribute to his wife and the mother of his two children, Bunny and Jet.

Following the revelation of Kieran's infidelity two years ago, he explains that the image is symbolic of their relationship now. In an interview with OK! magazine he said: 'after all the issues that have gone on between me and Kate, I wanted to portray her as a guardian angel. She has helped me through my troubles and I wanted to show her that I think she is an angel to me.' He adds: 'It's like she's always looking over me.'

Katie and Kieran, a former stripper, married in 2013 following a whirlwind romance, but it was revealed in 2014 that he was having an affair with Katie's best friend at the time Jane Poutney. Three months later, Katie, 38, also announced that her husband had been seeing her friend Chrissy Thomas. However, the pair got back together and are still married.

In light of these two relationships Kieran says, 'the pain I went through while having the tattoo done was nothing compared to the pain Kate went through when I cheated on her two years ago. So I think I deserved to go through that pain!'

So, what does Katie think of her husband's depiction of her? Kieran told OK! that 'She was shocked at how big it was.' And added that, 'She couldn't believe I'd done it for her. She now knows how much I love her and I think that's a good sign of showing somebody you love them.'

Katie has also spoken about the tattoo recently. Appearing on Loose Women on Monday she was asked by fellow panellists what the drawing meant. She answered that: 'He chose a picture of me with wings because he says I found him and saved him.'

Co-presenter Nadia Sawalha had one little question about the tattoo, saying to Katie, 'You are always beautiful, but that looks like a picture of you from about 20 years ago.'

'What are you saying? That I've only got a one-pack now? Are you calling me fat?' Katie replied, in her usual playful way.

What do you think of Kieran's tattoo? A sweet tribute or a little too much? Let us know in the comments below!
