How to recover from a bad night's sleep

Sleep - we all need it, so why is it that some of us are better at drifting off than others? And what about those of us that wake up in the middle of the night, for no reason at all, and can't get back to sleep? No wonder we wake up with bags so big that only sunglasses can cover!
