Celebrity MasterChef 2019 line up – revealed!

  • BBC have announced the line up for this year’s Celebrity MasterChef which includes Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse, Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison, and TOWIE’s Joey Essex.

    Yes, it’s that time of year again when 20 celebrities come together to impress MasterChef judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace in the 14th series of Celebrity MasterChef on BBC One.

    Testing their skills in the kitchen with different challenges and dishes from all over the globe over for six weeks, one celebrity will be crowned Celebrity MasterChef champion.

    While we don’t know exactly when the series will kick off, all 20 contestants have now been unveiled.

    On MasterChef’s official Instagram page on Wednesday, the first contestant, Strictly Come dancing’s Oti Mabuse was announced.

    Alongside a gorgeous picture of Oti sporting her Masterchef apron, the post said: ‘We are SO excited to be able to reveal that #Strictly Come Dancing star @OtiMabuse will be waltzing her way into Celebrity #MasterChefUK this summer! Full line up to be revealed soon…’

    The lucky celebrities taking on these challenges and the full line up for Celebrity MasterChef 2019 includes the following:

    Adam Woodyatt – Actor

    Adam is best known for his role as Ian Beele in the soap EastEnders.

    Vicky Pattison – Reality TV star 

    Vicky is best known for starring in reality TV Series including Geordie Shore, Ex on the Beach and her own show Judge Geordie.

    Oti Mabuse – Dancer

    Oti is best known for waltzing her way through the TV series Strictly Come Dancing. She is also a judge on The Greatest Dancer.

    Greg Rutherford – Olympic long-jumper

    Greg is a retired British athlete. He has previously represented Team GB in the Olympics, specialising in the long jump.

    Dame Zandra Rhodes

    Dame Zandra Rhodes – Fashion Designer

    Zandra is a fashion designer who has previously designed for celebrities and royalty  Princess Diana, Freddie Mercury and Brian May.

    Martha is best known for her role as lead singer of the Motown girl group Martha Reeves and the Vandellas.

    Neil is a former footballer having played for teams such as Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and West Ham United. In 2004, he appeared on the third series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.

    You will probably recognise Jenny as the quizzer from ITV game show series The Chase.

    Mim is a radio broadcaster, actor and spoken word artist. He’s best known for presenting on BBC Radio 1Xtra.

    Judge Jules – Club DJ

    Julius O’Riordan is better known by his stage name Judge Jules. He’s a British dance music DJ known for his popular radio shows on Kiss FM and Radio 1.

    Rickie Haywood-Williams – DJ

    Rickie  is a  radio DJ and TV presenter best known for appearing on Kiss FM and the 2016 TV series Bang on the Money on ITV.

    Dillian Whyte – Professional boxer and kickboxing champion

    Dillian is a professional boxer. He has held multiple heavyweight championships, including the WBC Silver title since 2017.

    Andy Grant – Former Royal Marine

    Andy is a former Royal marine who joined at the age of 17. He suffered a severe injury to his right leg which was then amputated below his knee. He has since taken part in the Paralympics for injured soldiers set up by Prince Harry winning several gold medals. Andy found fame in his attempt to become the fastest amputee.

    Last year’s contestants included TOWIE’s Gemma Collins, Made in Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews and EastEnder’s actor John Partridge.

    Previous champs include John Partridge, Angellica Bell and Kimberly Wyatt.
