Yesterday, ITV confirmed that presenter Davina McCall will be working on This Morning alongside regular stand-in host Rochelle Humes today (Friday).

This news was officially announced on the official Twitter account for This Morning, saying: ‘We've got @ThisisDavina and @RochelleHumes for our Friday dream tomorrow and WE 👏 CAN'T 👏 WAIT 👏’

It was great to see the duo so soon after ITV confirmed the news, saying that 'screen queen' Davina was all set to present the popular daytime TV show.

The pair presented their first show together today, and fans already love them! They were quick to comment on Davina’s tweet, with one fan writing ‘Absolutely fabulous to see Davina back on the TV!!!’

While another said: ‘loving Davina and Rochelle its like a breath of fresh air great combo'

And a third agreed: 'I always watch a show with Davina in it. Just love her!'

For their first episode, Davina and Rochelle had a lot to get through as they tried out various dairy-free milks (with Davina enjoying almond milk the most!), spoke to those paying tribute to loved ones with cancer, and hosted a debate about society’s ‘caught on camera’ attitude. So it was a busy one!

If you’re fans of Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby don’t worry though, as the regular pair will be returning to our screens once they’re back from summer break.

During Holly’s last show before summer, she became very emotional as they’d helped with funding for a school activity.

Davina McCall and Rochelle Humes are just stand-in presenters, but we’re still looking forward to the rest of their antics on the today's show before Holly and Phil return from a well-deserved break.
