Robbie Williams has announced he's releasing his first ever Christmas album, and we're so excited!

We know it’s only October, but we’re shamelessly getting ready for Christmas already. So we were delighted to discover his new album is coming!

Robbie Williams told fans the big news at an intimate gathering at Soho music venue The Court. His first festive album, called The Christmas Present, will be available soon.

He revealed the album features some surprising collaborations, including his dad, Pete, and even boxer Tyson Fury.

You might be wondering how Tyson Fury got involved in this, but Robbie had an explanation.

Speaking to Scott Mills, he said, "That makes sense in some sort of universe. So I got my residency in Vegas and while I was out there, Tyson was fighting and he invited me to his dressing room before the – is it called a dressing room when you fight? I dunno – and he invited me to that before the fight.”

He added, "I was in there and just in that moment I was like 'I've seen you sing after bouts' and I asked him and he said yes."

Robbie has also collaborated with Rod Stewart and Bryan Adams on the surprise album, describing them as “people that I know and people that I like”.

On top of this his wife, Ayda Field Williams, stars in the music video for the first single Time For Change. It was filmed at their home and features children in it, however, they aren’t the couple’s three children; Theodora, Charlton and Colette.

Robbie clarified this, saying, “The children are not ours in the video, but they insisted on calling me dad all day, it was so weird."

Robbie Williams’ Christmas album will be released on 22nd November, so you can get into the festive spirit a month early. He described the album as a “passion project”, admitting that he’d love a Christmas number one album.

He added, "That's the big deal, that's the big hope and the reason that I've been involving myself with this passion project for the last three years."

The singer will also be hosting The Robbie Williams Christmas Party at London’s SSE Arena in December. Exclusive access to tickets will be given alongside album pre-orders bought on his official website.

So if you’re a Robbie Williams super fan, make sure you order from his site to be eligible for these tickets!
