Abbey Clancy has revealed that her third child will be her last.
The Britain’s Next Top Model host, 31, is already mum to daughters Sophia, who was born in March 2011, and Liberty, who arrived in June 2015, with footballer husband Peter Crouch. Now expecting again, Abbey has explained why she doesn’t think the couple will expand their family any further.
‘I think this will be the last baby I have so I just want to embrace it,’ she told OK! magazine.
The star added that she’d been suffering with morning sickness, saying: ‘It was a bit of a shock and I’ve been very ill. I’m quite sick when I’m pregnant, but it’s fine.’
The mum-of-two also opened up to the title about how her girls were coping with the idea of having another sibling.
‘Sophia is [excited]. I think she’ll enjoy this one more because she was still a baby when I had Lib. But Liberty doesn’t get it as much. She’s just like: “Mum, your belly’s big!”. She’s only just two.’
The couple have not yet revealed whether they know the gender of their third child, although Abbey quipped: ‘A girl would be handy because I’ve still got everything pink. But as long as it’s healthy, I don’t mind.’
‘I think Pete would like a boy but he can’t choose!’
Rumours of Abbey’s latest pregnancy began circulating back in July, when she was pictured with a growing bump, and she later confirmed the happy news on her social media accounts.
‘Abbey and Peter are over the moon. Abbey has been quite open about wanting a third child – so they’re happy another is coming along so quickly after Sophia and Liberty,’ a source told The Sun at the time.
At the end of September, Abbey featured in a promotional video for Very where she confirmed that she was five months pregnant, suggesting that the couple will welcome their new arrival at the beginning of next year.
