Actor Rob Delaney thanks 'other bereaved parents' for their support following his two year old son's death
Rob has been blown away by all the messages of support from fans and other bereaved families
Rob Delaney announced the sad news that his two-year-old son had passed away earlier this month, and now he has taken to Twitter to thank people for their support during an incredibly difficult time for his family.
The American actor and comedian, best known for his role in the show The Catastrophe, has been inundated with supportive messages from fans and other bereaved families.
Rob's son Henry was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2016 and his cancer returned last year. Rob announced the news in an emotional Facebook post.
Due to the overwhelming response from fans, Rob took to Twitter to thank them for the messages and support.

He wrote: 'I am not capable of replying to all the people who've written me kind messages about Henry. But I am grateful that you have sent them. I especially want to thank other bereaved parents who've written me.'
Rob also thanked the Rainbow Trust who he said had been a huge source of support and guidance. The charity had posted about a trip to the National Theatre for siblings of those who are ill.

He said: 'Rainbow Trust, who helped my family SO MUCH over the last 2 yrs, taking siblings of very sick kids to The Winter's Tale at National Theatre today. Cannot overstate how valuable it is for these kids to meet each other, share experiences, make friends. ❤️'
Rob added: 'I love them so much. We might not yet know how to cure cancer or cystic fibrosis or other diseases but we do know -RIGHT NOW- how to love & comfort & offer a harbor to kids & their families in hard times. So beautiful & healthy & necessary.'
While Rob and his family continue to grieve and mourn the loss of Henry, he has asked for his privacy to be respected. As well as thanking people for their support, he has urged people to donate to the Rainbow Trust and Noah's Ark.
