Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria have become the proud parents of a baby boy.
The actor’s wife shared their happy news on Instagram, with an adorable family picture which sees the new mum cradling their bundle of joy in her hospital bed.
Captioning the snap, she wrote: ‘He’s here! He’s perfect! 8lbs 2oz #wegotthis2018’.
Alec shared the same picture on his own Instagram account as he wrote: ‘Here we go again! #BaldwinitosEverywhere.’
Fans rushed to congratulate the new parents, commenting on the posts to send their messages.
One wrote: ‘Blessings to you and the whole clan, congratulations!’
Another said: ‘How wonderful. So lucky. So blessed. Beautiful mommy. Handsome daddy.’
Their new addition, whose baby name they have yet to reveal, makes this the fourth child for the couple, who already share sons Leonardo Charles, 18 months and Rafael Thomas, two, as well as daughter Carmen Gabriela, four.
Alec is also father to 22-year-old daughter Ireland, with his ex-wife Kim Basinger.
The couple revealed their baby’s gender in an Instagram video in November. The family could be seen sitting around a cake as Hilaria cut into it to find blue filling.
‘It’s a blue cake … the magic cake says it’s a boy! Can we all say together “thank you,” magic cake,’ Alec can be heard asking his kids.
Hilaria later told US Weekly that she was ‘in shock’ to discover she was expecting another boy.
‘I cried when I found out! I wasn’t upset about it but I was overwhelmed!’ she explained.
‘I really do believe that this baby was meant to be and will come and we’ll be completely obsessed with him. So no, I don’t wish he was a girl.
‘With that being said, Carmen was a little disappointed because she’s been wanting a little sister! I don’t know if I can do 5!’
Alec and Hilaria, who wed in 2012, renewed their vows in June 2017 with their family — including their children — and close friends present. The ceremony marked the pair’s fifth wedding anniversary.
