Allison Holker reveals she's had a baby boy with adorable Twitter announcement

And you're going to love the name!

Dancing With The Stars professional dancer Allison Holker and her husband Stephen Boss have confirmed the birth of their baby boy.

Yesterday Allison shared the happy news with her 155k Twitter followers, saying 'We had an EASTER BABY!! We welcomed MADDOX LAUREL BOSS to the world.'

She went on to tell fans that her new bundle of joy was a robust '8 lbs 15 oz, and very healthy' before gushing that, 'He is surrounded by so much LOVE.'

Stephen is yet to share the news via his social media account, so we can only assume he's busy changing nappies!

Speaking to People magazine the couple made a joint statement, saying '[Maddox's birth] was truly an unforgettable moment and we are grateful to everyone that shared in the experience and made it so monumental. Our family feels full!'

The couple met on another dancing show, So You Think You Can Dance All-Stars, in 2010 and were married three years later, in 2013. Allison has previously admitted that she had to put the work in to show Stephen how much she liked him.

Speaking to Dance Spirit magazine at the time she explained her efforts, saying, 'I didn't just make one move — I made, like, 10 moves and he wasn't seeing them, so I had to put myself out there even more. From the first week of SYTYCD as All-Stars, I thought he was the cutest guy ever. His personality was so fun.'

Maddox is Stephen and Allison's first child together, but Allison has a seven-year-old daughter Weslie from a previous relationship, who Stephen is step-father to. Allison has previously spoken about Stephen and Weslie's relationship, telling The Epoch Times that 'Their relationship is so beautiful, it makes me want to cry. She loves him so much, and he is such a good example of what a man should be.'

And it seems like Weslie is as proud as punch over the new addition to the family. Speaking to People, the couple said, 'Maddox already has the best big sister Weslie, they have already bonded and share a truly beautiful love.'

As this was Stephen's first baby Allison wanted to reveal the gender in a special way for her husband, which meant a huge flash mob! Perfect for the pair of dancers, at the end of the organised dance they released a whole host of blue balloons - a moment which Stephen describes as 'time standing still'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FosWg27k_2I We can't wait to see the first pictures of the couple's little one!
