Amanda Seyfried and her husband Thomas Sadoski have announced they’ve welcomed their first child.
A representative for the couple confirmed the lovely news, also announcing the gender of the baby – and it’s a girl!
Amanda revealed she was pregnant back in November, after attending a press event in a black mini dress that highlighted her baby bump.
It’s been an exciting year for the couple so far, as the two not only became parents for the first time, but they tied the knot earlier this month.
Just last week, Amanda’s husband Thomas revealed the pair got married in secret, on The Late Late Show.
‘We eloped. We just took off into the country with an officiant and just the two of us, and we did our thing… We had a great day. It was perfect’, Thomas said, adding that the ceremony took place on 12th March.
‘She’s the person I love, admire, respect most in the world’, Thomas said of his wife, before describing what the ceremony was like.
‘It was beautiful. It was everything that it should be. It was just the two of us talking to each other.’
The couple met while working together on the show The Way We Get By, and announced they were engaged six months later, in September.
Back in 2015, the 31-one-year mum revealed in an interview that she wanted to start a family.
‘I keep feeling like my eggs are dying off. I need to get on it… I want a child. Badly. I want to be a mother, badly’, she told Marie Claire UK.
‘That’s what I feel. I’ve been feeling it for like, two years. I’m not ready but nobody’s ready. It changes everything… so how you can ever be ready for that?’
The Mean Girls star also shared her excitement about this new chapter of her life with Vogue Australia earlier this year.
‘I’ve never been excited by anything more in my life – and ready’, she said of motherhood, and a life together with husband Thomas.
Congratulations to the lovely couple!
