ASDA unveils Peppa Pig advent calendar for 2017

We bet you know someone who will LOVE this...

ASDA have revealed that they'll be selling a Peppa Pig advent calendar for 2017, sending fans of the popular pig into a frenzy.

Alternative advent calendars for kids have been a huge trend this year, with brands including Lego, Disney and even Aldi creating toy calendars to offer little ones a change from chocolate.

But we've got a sneaking suspicion that ASDA might have outdone them all (in our household, at least...) with this Peppa Pig advent calendar for 2017, which is bound to fly off the shelves.

The advent calendar comes complete with 24 Peppa-themed toys, with characters including Mummy and Daddy Pig and little brother George all hidden behind the doors. There's also a selection of festive accessories, such as trees, sledges and presents, to really set the Christmassy scene.

ASDA have priced the Peppa Pig advent calendar at £25, which whilst admittedly a little steeper than your average chocolate square number, still works out at only a little over £1 per toy - so if you've got a family member who considers themselves to be a major Peppa fan, we think the calendar could be a worthwhile investment.

A word of warning though - the calendar is only recommended for children over the age of two, so steer clear of it when you're in the aisles with any younger viewers if you want to avoid disappointment!

Looking for a more afforable Peppa Pig advent calendar for 2017? Good news - the chocolate Peppa advent calendar of recent years is still available at many supermarkets and high street stores such as Iceland and Wilko, and comes in at a rather more purse-friendly 95p.
