Ex-TOWIE star Cara Kilbey has taken to Instagram to announce her second pregnancy, sharing a sweet snap of her blossoming bump.

Cara, who left the reality show in 2012, is already mum to daughter Penelope Blu, who was born in early 2016. The new addition will be her second child with boyfriend Daniel Harris, who she met in Spain in 2014.

In the photograph, posted on Sunday, the 29-year-old sits cross legged on a bed in a simply open shirt and bikini combo, cradling her growing belly. Little Penelope sits next to her, copying her mum's pose as they smile sweetly at each other, and Cara has captioned the post: 'Oh Baby Baby 👶🏼🍼 #babyno2 #2under2.'

Cara and Daniel first became expectant parents back in 2015, but tragically lost their baby five months into the pregnancy. A representative said at the time: 'It is with great sadness that I must inform you, that last week Cara Kilbey suffered a late miscarriage. Cara was over five months pregnant when she lost her baby.'

However, it was only a few months before they learned they were expecting again, and Penelope was born at a healthy 9lb 2oz in February 2016.

'Daniel and I knew we wanted to get pregnant again straight away so I was overjoyed when I found out I was expecting two months later,' Cara told Closer Magazine at the time.

'We went through an awful time together, and I can see how something that traumatic can break a couple. But we saw a different, more caring side to each other and it brought us so much closer. I'll never forget my first baby, it'll always be part of our family, but now we can't wait to become parents.'

Since Penelope's arrival, Cara seems to have taken to motherhood like a duck to water - the proud mum often shares pics of her daughter on social media, and has even set up a dedicated Instagram account for the tot.
