Former boyband singer Chris Kirkpatrick, of NSYNC fame, has taken to Twitter to announce the happy news of the birth of his son.
Chris, who used to be in the 90s band with the likes of Justin Timberlake, shared the news along with a picture of his beaming wife Karly cradling their newborn son in hospital.
The 45-year-old gushed about his amazing wife whom he referred to as ‘Wonder Woman’, before revealing the name that they have chosen for their little one.
Chris captioned the sweet Twitter snap: ‘So proud of @MagicKar! She is the real Wonder Woman!’
‘Welcome our new edition Nash Dylan Kirkpatrick!!!!’
Nash is a baby name that has risen in popularity over the last decade, and has its origins as an English surname coming from a Middle English phrase that meant ‘at the ash tree’.
After Chris shared the happy news of his and Karly’s new arrival on Twitter, friends and fans were quick to congratulate the ecstatic couple on the new addition to their family.
‘So happy for you guys! Sending love!’ wrote one friend of the couple on Twitter, while another added: ‘Sooooo happy & excited for you both!! Welcome to the world Baby Nash!! He’s beautiful!!’
‘Awww!! Congrats, Chris and Karly!! He’s precious!!!’ tweeted another fan, while others praised the couple on their choice of baby name: ‘Congratulations & you two have given him a great name!’
Nash is the first child for Chris and Karly, who got married in 2013. Chris is the third member of NSYNC to become a father, after his former bandmates Joey Fatone and Justin Timberlake.
Joey is a father to two daughters, Kloey and Briahna, and Justin and his wife, actress Jessica Biel, welcomed their son, Silas, back in 2015. We wonder if Silas and Nash will be future playmates (or bandmates)?!
