Dad spots a very awkward scene in a Fireman Sam episode (and the reactions are hilarious)

'Certainly didn't have cartoons like this when I was younger'

A dad has taken to social media to share the very rude scene he spotted during an episode of Fireman Sam.

Adam Tranter, who is a father to twin boys, tweeted about the rude scene after watching the episode with his kids.

Alongside a clip of the scene, he wrote: 'My kids were watching Fireman Sam and then this happened.'

While to adult minds, the clip seems show to a rather X-rated scene between Steel and fellow fireman Elvis, Steel was just trying to help his colleague who got stuck in a chair.

But after Adam tweeted about the hilarious clip, many other parents joined in to say they also noticed the scene seemed too grown-up for the show.

One said: 'Certainly didn't have cartoons like this when I was younger', while another wrote: 'I watched this episode with my son who was laughing his head off at him being stuck in a chair meanwhile I was laughing at what it looked like'.

A third added: 'Lol 😆 There are no words - I'll never be able to watch Elvis & Station Officer Steel in the same light again 🙈'

A fourth person also tweeted: 'I guess that's what they meant when they say "entertainment for the whole family". Kids laugh at the chair, grown ups are dirty.'

It's not the first time eagle-eyed parents find something rude on children's TV show.

Earlier this year, Maya the Bee came under fire after a mum spotted a drawing of a penis in a log.

Taking to Facebook, the mum wrote: 'Disgusted!!! Please be mindful of what your kids are watching!!'

A mum also spotted something rude in an episode of Maya the Bee

'I know I'm not going crazy and i know that something like this shouldn't be in a kids' show whatsoever. I'm extremely disgusted by it, there should be no reason my kids have to see something like this.

'I don't know if they're gonna do something about this or what but there's no reasons why this should be in this show. So I'm just giving you guys a heads up just be careful what your kids are watching seriously be mindful and hope that helps.'
