The two split at the beginning of last year, getting a divorce after six years of marriage. There were claims they disagreed on whether to have children together, but the two have remained close friends and are often spotted out together.

Gary is also still involved in Danielle's daughter's life, as the two have a close bond.

Talking about being a step-dad to Ella, Gary previously said: 'I've a feeling that the teenage years will be interesting.

'But it's wonderful to be given a daughter. She has a father, who's a great guy, and I'm careful to respect that relationship.'
