David Beckham and baby niece Peggy show off matching hairstyles in adorable family photo

David Beckham has got a seriously cute new doppelgänger.

In a picture uploaded to Instagram yesterday, the ex-England football star's sister Joanne was keen to point out the similarities between her brother and her baby daughter Peggy.

'L O V E . M Y . U N C L E ... as if me and uncle David have the same hair,' David's sister joked.

'I think he copied me 😂@davidbeckham ! ❤️.'

In the shot Joanne shared alongside her comment, David can be seen holding his tiny niece outstretched in his arms.

David, who is dressed in a smart casual look of a collarless shirt and camel cardigan, beams as he looks down at the newest member of his family.

Looking super snuggly in an all-white ensemble, little Peggy gazes back at the 42-year-old.

The adorably candid snap went down a storm with fans, with many gushing about the newborn and her famous relative.

'Aww what a beauty she is...and David 🙈🙊 xx,' said one rather cheekily.

While another exclaimed: 'Can you imagine your uncle Dave turning up at sports day!! How cool x.'

A third Instagram follower told Joanne that Peggy's expression is a look she's personally very familiar with.

'Hilar! This is what my daughter looked like looking at me and my husband at that age. Too cute xx,' they acknowledged.

David's 35-year-old sibling confirmed that she and boyfriend Kris Donnelly had become parents for the first time in December last year.

The proud mum broke the news with a heart-warming post on the picture-sharing platform.

'9.12.17 💗THE DAY OUR LIFE CHANGED FOREVER ... such an amazing feeling starting our own family , the love I have for our little princess Peggy is one that is so unconditional,' she gushed.
