Abbey Clancy's husband Peter Crouch shared the first picture of their adorable new baby on Twitter – along with the new arrival’s hilarious nickname.
The footballer took to social media to reveal that his wife had given birth to a healthy baby boy yesterday, Monday 3rd June.
Peter shared an adorable picture of the new arrival on Twitter, writing: ‘Our beautiful baby boy was born Monday 3rd June mother and baby Divock Samrat Crouch are doing well.’
Peter’s followers soon began to speculate that he and Abbey had named their baby after Divock Origi, a Belgian footballer who sealed Champions League victory for Peter’s former club, Liverpool FC, at the weekend.
But when fans called his bluff, Peter confessed that the baby’s name was in fact ‘still to be clarified’.
‘Unfortunately Abs not going for Divock Samrat,’ he admitted in another tweet.
Abbey revealed that she was pregnant back in January, sharing a picture of her growing bump in a bikini on Instagram. She captioned the image: ‘When a hatrick just wont do !!!#babynumber4’.
The announcement came as a shock to many of the model’s fans, since she had previously said that her third baby would be her last. Abbey gave birth to her first child, a daughter called Sophia Ruby, back on 14th March 2011, just three months before she and Peter got married at Leicestershire’s Stapleford Park Hotel, on 30th June.
Their second daughter, Liberty Rose, followed four years later, on 1st June 2015. The couple went on to welcome Johnny, their first son, on 3rd January last year.
Abbey has been open about the struggles she’s had with her pregnancies. Last September, she told MailOnline that her third pregnancy had been ‘really tough’.
‘With my last baby I was so ill, I was in bed for nine months and in hospital a few times,’ she revealed. ‘I was constantly throwing up 24/7. It was a really tough pregnancy and I couldn’t spend a lot of quality time with my two other children.’
We bet looking at that adorable little face makes it all worthwhile.
