Amy Childs has given birth to her first child with boyfriend Ritchie and announced her little boy's arrival on Instagram.

Former TOWIE star Amy Childs has welcomed her second child to the world, her first with boyfriend Ritchie.

Amy is already mum to Polly who she shares with her former boyfriend Bradley Wright. Amy announced that she was expecting again back in April and admitted at the time that her pregnancy had come as a bit of a shock as it was just 11 months after she have birth to Polly.

Amy's followers have been speculating that she would give birth for the last couple of weeks and she finally announced the happy news on Sunday. Posting an adorable picture of her son tucked under a baby blue fleece blanket Amy wrote: 'My beautiful son. Welcome to the world darling.... Born Saturday 1st September 4.12am.'

The mum-of-two hasn't revealed her choice of baby name yet but hopefully she won't leave us waiting too long. Now that Amy and Ritchie have their first child together it's possible a proposal could follow. Back in June in an interview with OK! Magazine Amy admitted that the couple were in no rush to wed and wanted to have the baby's arrival out the way first.

She said: 'We've got the baby coming first, so I'll let you know after that! We'll see. There's no rush.'
