Amy Jackson announces she’s expecting first child with fiancé George Panayiotou

Amy Jackson has announced that she’s expecting her first child with fiancé George Panayiotou.

The British actress, who’s originally from Liverpool and recently starred in the US TV series Supergirl, shared the baby news on social media.

Alongside a beautiful picture of the couple, the expectant mum wrote: ‘I’ve been waiting to shout it from the roof tops, and today, being Mother’s Day, it couldn’t be a more perfect time…

I already love you more than anything in this world, the purest most honest love. We can’t wait to meet you our little Libra one ❤️‘.

Friends of the couple were quick to congratulate them on the comments, with one saying: ‘This is sooooooo beautiful!! Am thrilled for you guys!!!! Loads of love darl😘😘❤️❤️’

Another added: ‘This is so so beautiful!! 🤗🤗🤗Congratulations to both of you!!! So so happy for you Amy!! ♥️😘’

Former Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh also wrote: ‘Oh my goodness congratulations beauty!!! ❤️’

Speaking to HELLO! Magazine, Amy revealed the pregnancy was unplanned.

She said: ‘It was totally unplanned. We had no idea. We’re at that stage where we’re definitely ready for it.

‘I don’t think you can ever plan something perfectly, but we’re in such a good place. We’re happy together, we have a beautiful home and we’re excited to be a mum and dad.’

Amy also revealed how the pregnancy has changed their relationship so far. She said: ‘We know each other pretty well – the good, the bad, the ugly and everything in between.

‘We were inseparable before, but this is a different closeness.’

The exciting baby news come after just three months after Amy announced that she said ‘yes’ when George popped the question over the holidays.

She shared the lovely engagement news on New Year’s Day with a gorgeous picture of the couple standing in front of a waterfall in Zambia.

She wrote at the time: ‘YES A GAZILLION TIMES!!!!! 1st January 2019 – The start of our new adventure in life. I love you. Thankyou for making me the happiest girl in the world.’
