Master Archie has made his first ever public appearance while on royal tour with parents the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Prince Harry and Megan Markle, who have kept their little one pretty under wraps since he was born back in May, have finally introduced the five-month-old to the world while out in South Africa.

During the meeting, Thandeka joked that Archie was going to be a ladies man when he was older, before the Archbishop kissed the baby on the forehead as the royal couple headed out of the building.

And doesn’t baby Archie look just like his Dad at that age?

In fact, many royal fans have commented on the similarities between little Archie and Prince Harry when he was around the same age – and we reckon the pair look like twins!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took to their Instagram account to share a sweet video of them walking to a public engagement with baby Archie in tow, while on their first royal tour as a family.

Archie can be seen being carried by his mother and even treats cameras to an adorable smile!

This is the first time that Harry and Meghan have introduced Archie to the world while carrying out their regular engagements.

And the close-up video is what royal fans have been waiting for, as viewers are really able to see what the little one looks like and can even see his adorably cheeky personality shining through while he holds his mother’s hand, laughs up at his father and gives the camera a cute and beaming smile.

Members of the public have only met the newest royal twice previously.

The first time was when the Sussexes carried out a photocall in Windsor just days after the little one’s birth and the second was when Archie was christened back in July at two-months-old.

This morning, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was christened in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle at an intimate service officiated by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are so happy to share the joy of this day with members of the public who have been incredibly supportive since the birth of their son. They thank you for your kindness in welcoming their first born and celebrating this special moment. Their Royal Highnesses feel fortunate to have enjoyed this day with family and the godparents of Archie. Their son, Archie, was baptised wearing the handmade replica of the royal christening gown which has been worn by royal infants for the last 11 years. The original Royal Christening Robe, made of fine Honiton lace lined with white satin, was commissioned by Queen Victoria in 1841 and first worn by her eldest daughter. It was subsequently worn for generations of Royal christenings, including The Queen, her children and her grandchildren until 2004, when The Queen commissioned this handmade replica, in order for the fragile historic outfit to be preserved, and for the tradition to continue. Hopefully we’ll see him out and about again in South Africa soon!
