Bode and Morgan Miller have welcomed their third child together, four months after they tragically lost their daughter.

The couple confirmed the news to People magazine, and revealed that Morgan gave birth to their new baby on Friday, 5th October.

The pair welcomed a baby boy, their third child together but the fifth for Olympic athlete Bode. They are yet to reveal what name they've picked for their bundle of joy.

The new addition to their family comes nearly four months after they sadly lost two-year-old daughter Emeline, who drowned in a pool after she slipped through a back door and fell in the water.

Bode broke the terrible news about his daughter's passing on social media, alongside a picture of his little girl. He wrote at the time: 'We are beyond devastated. Our baby girl, Emmy, passed away yesterday. Never in a million years did we think we would experience a pain like this.

'Her love, her light, her spirit will never be forgotten. Our little girl loved life and lived it to it’s fullest everyday. Our family respectfully requests privacy during this painful time.'

The couple have been very vocal about their loss, in a bid to raise awareness about water safety so that no other family has to go through the same painful situation.

The mum said in an emotional interview with the Today show: ‘There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t pray for the opportunity to go back to that day and make it different. But now we have this opportunity to make other parents’ days different.

'We have the choice to live our days with purpose, to make sure that no other parent has to feel what we’re feeling.

‘Guilt is a very painful thing. And even though it’s awful and living with it is terrible, and I hope and pray and beg that it gets easier, I am now much more aware in that area to make sure it doesn’t ever happen again.’
