Shoppers can also buy special edition Mickey Mouse T-shirts for their Mickey and Minnie toys - or for any of the other characters in store for just £5.

If you want to treat your little ones to a magical Build-A-Bear experience head to one of their stores where they'll be able choose their favourite character to build from start to finish.

Start with an unstuffed cuddly toy, pick from a huge range of outfits and accessories to dress them up in then add the finishing touches. To make it more personal you can record a voice message to put inside your new toy and even give it a heartbeat. You can even make your new toy smell like your favourite thing including strawberries, popcorn and pizza.

The toy is then stuffed and sewn up for you to take home complete with birth certificate to remind you of your wonderful day out.

Mickey Mouse was first created by Walt Disney in 1928 and went on to appear in over 130 films including his most famous, Fantasia. Mickey Mouse was also the first ever cartoon character to have his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Happy Birthday Mickey!
