Casey Batchelor has revealed she’s expecting her second child with fiancé Dane Goodson, just 14 months after she gave birth to daughter Florence.
The former Celebrity Big Brother star has revealed very happy news as she confirmed she is expecting her second child.
The lovely announcement comes just 14 months after she gave birth to her first child, daughter Florence, who she welcomed in May last year.
Speaking to Closer magazine, she said: 'I’m going to have two babies 20 months apart… I can’t quite believe it!
'It’ll be tough, but I’m going to ride the storm – we’re just so thrilled we’re having another baby!'
Casey and Dane will become parents for the second time early next year, but haven’t revealed if they know the gender of their second child.
Explaining why they decided to have another baby so close together, Casey said that as they’re both older, they didn’t want to wait long to expand their families.
‘Dane and I wanted more children – we’re both turning 35 and we got engaged in January, so we didn’t want to wait much longer, as time is ticking on. We decided to start trying, and I got pregnant straight away. I do feel very lucky’, she said.
The 35-year-old also admitted she hasn’t got as much rest this time around, something which other pregnant women with little ones will probably relate to.
'Florence wakes me up at 5AM and I’m on my feet a lot – sometimes I forget I’m pregnant! It’s only when I’m tired and I sit down that I remember’, she added.
Casey and Dane have been together since early 2017, and announced their engagement just a few months ago, in February.
Dane actually popped the question in December, but the pair waited to share the happy news.
Explaining why she kept it under wraps, she said at the time: ‘We didn’t announce the news straight away as we wanted to keep it between us for a while. But now the secrets out #IMENGAGED’.
