Emmerdale star Charley Webb opens up about difficult night with baby Ace

Who else can relate to this?

Parenting can be very tough, and Charley Webb experienced that first-hand on Tuesday night with baby Ace, who she welcomed on 29th July 2019.

Taking to Instagram Stories, the star shared an update to followers and vent her parenting frustrations. We’re sure many of us have been there!

She wrote, ‘Ace has been up all night! Every 20 minutes crying. From the moment I put him down last night. Emma slept in my bed and had to be up for work. Woke up this morning thrilled with himself. I. AM. DEAD. Today will be spent drinking coffee.’

Charley Webb tagged Emmerdale co-star Emma Atkins in her story, who plays her on-screen mum Charity Dingle in the popular soap.

It seems she was staying over at Charley’s house, and ended up having to move rooms so she could sleep better before work. We’re sure Emma understood though, as she’s a mum too!

Charley Webb’s character Debbie Dingle has been written out of the soap temporarily, so that she’s able to take maternity leave and care for the new addition to the family.

Currently, her character has gone to Scotland to open a garage that she inherited from Lisa Dingle in her will. It’s not yet known when she’ll be returning to the programme.

Charley is a mum-of-three, and in the summer she opened up about the fact she hadn’t left the house in eight days, after welcoming baby Ace into the family.

She is also a mum to 9-year-old Buster, and Bowie Grey Wolfenden, with her husband Matthew Wolfenden, who she met on the set of Emmerdale.

Matthew plays David Metcalfe in the popular ITV soap.
