Emmerdale couple Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden have announced that they are expecting their third child.
The mum-to-be, who recently opened up about separation anxiety, took to social media to reveal the exciting news that she and husband Matthew are expecting their third baby together.
Sharing a picture on her Instagram page, the expectant mum, who plays Debbie Dingle in the ITV soap, posted a sweet snap of the family enjoying themselves on a family day out in the snowy woods.
And the dad-to be followed suit with an identical post of his own.
The image shows the family-of-four posing with a sign reading ‘Buster, Bowie and…’ and the accompanying caption reads: ‘#Number3’.
Fans, friends and co-stars rushed to congratulate the pair, commenting on the two posts, writing: ‘❤❤❤❤ this!!! Congratulations to you all. 3 is the magic number xxxx’, ‘Congrats❤️❤️❤️ Gorgeous Family x’, ‘Wow this is amazing amazing news congratulations’ and ‘Congratulations babe Bowie’s little face in the first picture though! Absolutely melted my heart❤’.
One enthusiastic fan even revealed which gender they’re hoping for, writing: ‘You need a girl this time ❤’ and one commended the couple’s choice of announcement, writing: ‘Fab way to announce it!! Many congratulations to you all ❤️ x x’.
The Emmerdale stars were also congratulated by fellow soap actors Michelle Keegan, who wrote: Yessss ❤ xxx’ and Sheree Murphy who commented: ‘The best news ❤.’
The mum-and dad-to-be, who got married in a secret wedding ceremony in Harrogate towards the start of last year, are already parents to eight-year-old Buster Wolfenden and three-year-old Bowie Wolfenden.
Soon after they welcomed their youngest son the couple opened up about when they would look to start trying to baby number three.
Speaking to The Daily Mirror, dad Matthew – who plays David Metcalfe in the ITV soap – explained how the couple were planning to add to their family.
‘While we are still pretty knackered now we might as well go for number three and keep that knackeredness ball rolling,’ he joked.
