Chrissy Teigen and John Legend welcomed their second child last week and have shared a sweet snap of the newborn on Instagram, also revealing his name.
New mum Chrissy, who is also mum to two-year-old Luna, shared an adorable photo of her newborn son with her 1.2million followers.
The model announced in the post that the baby name they picked for their newborn is Miles Theodore Stephens.
‘Hello, world! This is Miles Theodore Stephens,’ Chrissy wrote on the Instagram caption.
The 32-year old added: ‘We are drowning in his little peeps and nuzzles. Our household feels overwhelmed with love. Thank you for all your well wishes!’
The adorable image has had over three million likes. New dad, John Legend has also revealed the reason for the choice of moniker, talking to E! News the 39-year-old explained the musical references.
‘Every name we give our kids has some music history to it, Miles is the same name as the great Miles Davis.
‘Chrissy really liked the name Theodore so we put it all together and gave him the name Miles Theodore Stephens.’
Miles Davis was a famous African American jazz trumpeter, who is considered one of the most influential figures in jazz and 20th century music history.
John also revealed how he's helping his wife around the house, noting that he pitches in with the cooking.
The mum-of-two and Lip Sync Battle host hinted that childbirth was a little easier this time around.
Taking to Twitter, Chrissy wrote: ‘I can confirm postpartum life is 90% better when you don’t rip to your butthole,’ adding, ‘Baby boy: 1 point. Luna: 0.’
The new mum-of-two also responded to a fan on Twitter Friday who asked whether the couple’s son resembled Luna.
‘Same nose!’ Chrissy replied. Adding: ‘He is a few weeks early so he’s litttttttle and makes the teeniest noises. We are in love.’
Chrissy started dating John Legend 2007 after she appeared in the video for his song, Stereo. The couple were married in 2013, in a ceremony in Italy.
