Saturday was a big night for Rachel Bloom, as she picked up an Emmy award and announced her pregnancy!

Rachel is known for her role as Rebecca Bunch on the Netflix series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, receiving the Emmy for Original Music and Lyrics for her work on the series.

The song ‘Antidepressants are So Not A Big Deal’ earned Rachel the coveted award, which also happens to be her first ever Emmy.

She shares the award with Adam Schlesinger and Jack Dolgen, who helped to pen the music and lyrics.

Backstage at a press conference, Rachel decided to formally announce that she was three months pregnant with her first child with husband and TV producer Dan Gregor.

‘I might as well do it at an Emmys press conference right? I was going to post an Instagram, but yeah! I’m three months pregnant.’ Rachel joked, as she grinned at the audience.

‘I get to tell my child she was with me when this happened, which is really f**king cool.’

People have noticed that Rachel used the word 'she' in her speech, so does that mean she already knows? We'll have to wait and see!

Fans were quick to congratulate Rachel on her big news, with one writing: 'Congratulations @Racheldoesstuff on your very much deserved Emmy win and on your upcoming motherhood! So incredibly happy for you!!! 😘'

'Double Congrats @Racheldoesstuff and @gregorcorp!!! 👶🏻' Wrote another.

Another added: 'Very excited for her and her husband!'

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend ended in April this year, after a successful four-season run. The comedy musical helped to shine the spotlight on Rachel Bloom, but it’s likely she’ll be taking a break from acting whilst she welcomes her new baby.

Huge congratulations to Rachel and Dan!
