Actress Jenna Dewan is expecting her first child with boyfriend Steve Kazee

Step Up star and backup dancer Jenna Dewan has announced that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Steve Kazee.

The couple confirmed the news to People, telling them that: ‘We are beyond overjoyed and couldn’t be happier to be expanding our family!’

Jenna Dewan publicly announced her new relationship with Steve on Instagram in June, writing ‘Speaking of peace… ❤’.

Jenna Dewan was previously married to actor Channing Tatum, who she has six-year-old daughter Everly with. But the pair split in April 2018, explaining that it was a mutual decision.

In a joint statement, the couple had said: ‘We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together.’

According to People, a source said that: ‘Jenna’s relationship with Steve is very serious. So many things had to work work for her to even consider dating again. And everything has clicked with Steve.’

Steve is also a great stepdad to Everly, with the source adding: ‘Steve is very supportive of her as a mom. He is amazing with Everly. Jenna loves having Steve around. She feels very lucky to be dating him.’

The couple are very loved up, with Steve sharing a sweet photo of Jenna on Valentine’s Day and writing: ‘Somehow, inexplicably, I’ve been granted the honor to have this be the person that I get to be side by side with throughout this wild journey we call life.
