Californian-born Brittny also shared the happy news and the same image on her own Instagram, telling fans: 'Baby couldn’t wait for the wedding, he’s decided to make an early appearance. @jensonbutton_22 and I are very happy to announce baby button is coming this summer #babybutton'

Fans have congratulated the couple on their Instagram posts, with one writing below Jenson's image: 'Now isnt that the greatest race you won? Congrats enjoy it.'

Another fan had a simple but sweet message for the pair: 'Congrats jenson and Brittny!!! That you are very happy.'

And one very jokingly wrote: 'This is my Royal baby ! Well you know what I mean. Enjoy the life change!' Jenson and Brittny announced their engagement in June 2018, with Button sharing a sweet image of the pair standing barefoot on a beach and gazing lovingly into each others eyes.

The couple have been dating since March 2016, after Jenson split from Japanese model Jessica Michibata in 2015.

Born and raised in California, Brittny started off her career by entering beauty pageants, before starting modelling when she turned 12.

In 2010, she was discovered by a top modelling agency whilst working as a ring girl for Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC), and was subsequently catapulted to fame.

Congrats to the happy couple, no doubt that little baby button is going to be as cute as one as well!!
