Jenson Button has welcomed his first child.
The Formula One racer took to his social media to share the exciting news that his fiancée Brittny Ward had given birth to the couple’s first child.
Taking to his Instagram account, the new dad shared the happy news with his 1 million followers via his Instagram stories.
Reposting a sweet story that his other half had put up on her own account, the proud dad shared an adorable photo of the little one’s feet, alongside a caption that even revealed whether the new arrival’s was a boy or a girl!
‘He’s here, he’s healthy and our hearts couldn’t be more full,’ wrote the former world champion.
Earlier this week the 39-year-old hinted that he and Brittny would be welcoming their little one sometime soon after uploading a sweet post to his Instagram feed.
Sharing a snap of him hugging his model fiancée and cradling her ready-to-pop baby bump, the then dad-to-be wrote: ‘This week Shit is about to get real!! 😍🙏🏽👶🏼’.
Fans were excited at the imminent arrival, with comments on the post including: ‘So excited for you both. You’re a lovely couple. I wish you good luck and I’m sending big love. Come on baby Button xx💖’ and ‘Wishing you both all the luck in the world with your new baby when they make an appearance!!!!’
This is the first baby for both Jenson and 28-year-old Brittny, who announced that they were expecting a child together back in January.
Posting a picture of the baby’s scan on his Instagram page, the sportsman wrote: ‘Brittny & I are Delighted to announce the new edition to the family currently having his first seat! Look how comfy he looks! 😍👶🏼’, followed by the adorable hashtag ‘#babybutton’.

The pair, who got engaged last June, are yet to announce any more details about their new little one.
Fingers crossed we get to hear about a name soon and maybe even get another cute glimpse of the new arrival!
