Jessie Ware welcomes her second child during a home birth

Singer Jessie Ware has announced the arrival of her second child on Instagram and revealed she had a home birth.

Jessica Ware only announced she was expecting her second child with her husband Sam Burrows back in October.

The couple have been together since they were 18 and got married in 2014. They are already parents to a two-year-old little girl and have now welcomed an adorable little boy.

Confirming the new arrival with a sweet picture on Instagram, Jessie revealed that she had opted for a home birth and thanked the NHS staff who helped the birth go so smoothly.

The mum-of-two wrote: ‘Last night I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in my living room. I couldn’t have done it without the MOST fantastic NHS Homerton Homebirthing team: Francine, Annie and Roisin.’

She added: ‘The level of care and kindness they offered us was incredible. Once again I’m reminded how much we should cherish our special NHS #saveournhs.’

The post has already received over 58,000 likes with hundreds of Jessie’s fans and friends writing their well wishes underneath the sweet picture.

Jessie and Sam have not revealed the name of their baby boy just yet but it’s unlikely they will do an official reveal as they still haven’t with their daughter.

Jessie also chose not to take any maternity leave after welcoming her daughter and was back to her emails just a few days after giving birth.

She revealed: ‘I didn’t get a maternity leave! I was writing emails a few days after [giving birth] because I’m self-employed and it’s my business.’

Perhaps now she has two little ones the Overtime singer will take some time off.
