The Body Coach Joe Wicks expecting second child with wife Rosie

Joe Wicks and his wife Rosie are expecting their second child.

The health and fitness guru, who goes by The Body Coach, took to his social media to make the exciting announcement.

Taking to his Instagram page to share the exciting news with his 2.7 million followers, the dad-of-one shared a sweet photo of him and one-year-old daughter Indie sitting next to wife Rosie as she cradles her bump.

Alongside the adorable family snap he wrote: ‘🎉Weeeeeee’re having another baby 👶🏼😝We are very happy and excited to grow our family ❤️

‘We don’t know the sex,’ he continued, ‘and won’t find out but Rosie is now 19 weeks pregnant so Indie will be getting a little brother or sister in January 😬🎉’.

Fans rushed to congratulate the pair on their exciting announcement, with a host of famous faces sending their well wishes.

Fellow healthy eating icons Jools Oliver and Dr Rupy Aujla, better known as The Doctor’s Kitchen, commented: ‘Fantastic happy news ❤️❤️❤️❤️’ and ‘AmaZing news pal 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽’.

Parenting author and presenter Giovanna Fletcher wrote ‘Guys!!!!! Huge congratulations!! ❤️😍 xxx’ while reality star Sam Faiers added: ‘Congratulations 😘😘😘’.

Presenter Marvin Humes, who is married to This Morning host Rochelle, also commented, writing: ‘Congrats Joe big love to the fam ❤️’ and was joined by This Morning regular Ruth Langsford who added: ‘How wonderful! Congratulations! 🎉👶🏻’.

This will be the second baby for Joe and Rosie, after they welcomed daughter Indie last July.

Only offering these foods for the first 2 weeks 🙌🏽 🥬🍆First Foods for Baby During Weaning!🥔🥦 🌟Only one of my FAVOURITE topics in the world, & something I get asked about all the time too! 👶🏼When it comes to introducing solid foods to baby, whether you’re #BLW or spoon feeding (or both) parents often want to know – “what foods should I start with?”! ✅It’s no secret that I’m a HUGE fan of the vegetables first, or the “Green Foods First” method of weaning 🙋🏼‍♀I recommend parents start their baby with single veggies for their very first tastes (maybe for 1-2 weeks) – mainly savoury & bitter options – the 10 foods in the graphic above are perfect examples 🤷🏼‍♀And why? 🍬Because babies are born with a preference for sweet foods, they readily accept sweet tastes, but often need more encouragement to learn to enjoy savoury, bitter & umami tastes 🥒Therefore, offering veggies first helps to expose baby’s taste buds to these more unfamiliar flavours early on, which can help to encourage their acceptance during the weaning process. This has also shown to be the case in lots of research too. ❗Do remember that variety is always key, so offer a different veggie each day for the first week or so of weaning, before building in combinations & focusing on a really wide variety of foods from 6 months of age, including plenty of iron-rich options too! 🥴It’s not always going to be the case that baby loves these foods straight away, it’s just about TINY TASTES at first, so don’t worry if they pull faces or don’t get much in, that’s completely normal and doesn’t mean that they actively don’t like it! 👶🏼I always like to think of weaning as a journey onto an adult diet, but it’s also a journey of acceptance with LOTS of unfamiliar foods too – starting with savoury, rather than sweet tastes, can help build familiarity which research shows can lead to acceptance of these foods!

Since then, the online nutrition coach, whose healthy eating programme is called Lean in 15, has announced that he will be launching new recipe book Wean in 15, which will feature ideas surrounding healthy ways to wean your little one.

The happy family announcement comes after Joe and Rosie tied the knot back in June.

The pair took to Instagram to share a series of gorgeous photos from the day, which saw them celebrating with family and friends in a rustic outdoor ceremony.
