John Lewis Christmas advert is finally here.
The high-street giant, who gets the whole nation in the festive spirit each year, has teamed up with supermarket Waitrose to introduce their Christmas advert for this year.
And it features adorable new character Excitable Edgar, who innocently jeopardises festivities for his whole village when he uncontrollably breathes fire every time he gets excited.
The adorable dragon has been a hit with viewers across the country, with thousands of followers already on his own Twitter page.
In just a few hours he got hundreds of likes and share on his debut post, where he joked, ‘I hear a few of you have been talking about me? That explains why my ears are burning!’ adding, ‘I’m #ExcitableEdgar, star of this year’s Christmas advert from John Lewis & Partners and Waitrose & Partners!’.
And now fans can get hold of Excitable Edgar in the form of an adorable cuddly toy.
The Plush Soft Toy comes with wings and a wonky horn just like its namesake, so that little ones can have their own Edgar as close to the real thing as possible.

And that’s not all the department store is offering.
Fans can also get hold of 3D Glow In The Dark Pyjamas that cleverly give the illusion of a real Edgar when the lights are turned out.

Available for ages 2-10 years, the nightwear is made from cotton stretch fabric to give the kids a comfortable sleep.
Parents can also add another touch of Edgar to bedtime with the Excitable Edgar Christmas Book, which tells a heartwarming of the dragon along with his best friend Ava who features in the TV advert.

To complement the loungewear, John Lewis is also selling Children’s 3D Boot Slippers with a tail running down the back and wings on the sides.
The snug-fitting boots come with a slip-resistant sole to help avoid accidents and are available in size 6Jnr-13Jnr.

And good news for any grown up Edgar fans out there, the fluffy slippers also come in adult sizes 1-6.
And for outdoorsy types, fans can also get hold of Excitable Edgar Wellington Boots, complete with 3D wings on the sides.
Available in sizes 6 Jnr-13 Jnr and adults 1-4, the boots are made from natural rubber and feature a chunky, gripped sole for staying safe outdoors.
