Kate Middleton makes hilarious fashion blunder that mums can definitely relate to

Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton looked great in a very sophisticated outfit at a royal engagement yesterday, but turns out she might have made a big mistake while getting dressed…

The mum-of-three visited the Henry Fawcett Children’s Centre in South London, to see what Lambeth Early Action Partnership are doing to support parents, carers and their children in the area.

At the centre, Kate seemed to be having a fun time chatting to the parents and playing with the little ones, dressed in black trousers and chic purple blouse.

But eagle-eyed royal fans spotted that Kate wasn’t wearing the outfit quite how she was supposed to. Turns out the Gucci blouse was meant to be worn with the buttons on the back, as it’s described on the Net-A-Porter website, who sell it for £799.

The description on the website reads: 'Cut from fluid silk-crepe, this style has a loose silhouette and features fabric-covered buttons that run down the back.'

So it seems like Kate wore her blouse back to front – which could have been a fashion statement or perhaps just a tired mum moment? Either way, she looked great!

During the engagement, the mum also gave fellow parents a lovely update on her youngest son, Prince Louis, who seems to be ready to start walking after he mastered crawling.

She said: ‘Louis just wants to pull himself up all the time. He has got these little walkers and is bombing around in them.’

Speaking of how Kate was like when she interacted when other parents, mum-of-twins Finesse said: ‘She was just lovely, really down to earth. I never thought she would come down and sit with us, but she did. She just wanted to chat about what it was like to be a mum. She said that we all had our ups and downs as parents, regardless of who we are.’
