Peter Andre has confirmed his children with Katie Price, Junior and Princess, will be spending Christmas Day with their mum.
The 45 year-old singer took to Twitter last night to confirm the news after speculation as to where the kids would be enjoying the festivities his year.
He stated: ‘I never normally respond to anything. But of course the children (j and p) will be with their mum for Christmas. This was always the case. And so they should. So is their mum. Have a good day :)))’
This year has been a tumultuous one for Katie, with Princess and Junior currently living with Pete and his wife, Emily MacDonagh, alongside their siblings Amelia, four, and Theo, two.
Speculation arose as to what Princess, 11, and Junior, 13, Christmas Day plans would be after Pete recently opened up about the traditions he shares with his oldest kids, hinting that they might be spending Christmas with him this year.
Talking to NOW magazine, he said: ‘There are kids everywhere and we do all the traditional stuff. The mince pies and carrots are left out the night before, then the kids wake up in the morning with stockings at the end of their beds.’
‘We have a big English breakfast, then sit in a circle to open our presents. We have lunch, go for a walk, then pass out in front of the TV with chocolates.’
Since Peter and Katie’s split nine years ago, they have taken turns celebrating Christmas Day with their kids.
As it was Pete’s turn last year, it looks like they are planning to continue honouring this agreement.
Katie’s two children with ex-husband Kieran Hayler, Jett, five and Bunny, four, are currently living with their father, and her eldest son, Harvey, 16, livies alone at home with his mum.
Katie recently opened up about how Harvey feels lonely when his other siblings are away.
A short clip from the Christmas special of her TV show My Crazy Life has been released in which she reveals: ‘Today, Jett and Bunny are with Kieran, Junior and Princess are with their dad and it’s days like this that Harvey gets really, really bored.’
We hope, after such a tough year, they have a wonderful Christmas Day together!
