Laura Wright has revealed she’s expecting her first child with husband Harry Rowland, just eight months after they tied the knot.

The expectant mum, who has sung at every Invictus Games so far in front of Prince Harry, shared the exciting news with HELLO! Magazine.

She said: ‘It's such a special time of year and the whole reason we wanted a winter wedding in the first place was because we love Christmas so much.

‘This year will be even more amazing.’

Revealing she found out just before running the London Marathon, Laura said: ‘It's only in the last two or three weeks that I’ve begun to show.

‘There's a lot of time to think when you’re running a marathon. Emotionally, I found the experience quite difficult. I’m very competitive so I wanted to do well, and give it my best shot, but I felt like I couldn’t do that.

‘This was my fourth marathon and I know how they can be quite overwhelming – your energy stores get so depleted and you’re so exhausted. I was feeling quite tired anyway, and I felt a bit low. I didn’t know what to expect.’

The lovely baby news comes just eight months after the couple tied the knot in a lovely winter wedding in Framlingham, Suffolk, after being together for six years.

Speaking about their big day, Laura told HELLO! at the time: ‘It was the most brilliant day – everything we’d hoped for.

‘To have all of our friends and family together and making memories with us was amazing. The best thing about a Christmas wedding is that you’re starting the new year as a married couple and looking forward to the future.’

Congratulations to the lovely couple!
