Marnie Simpson has welcomed her first child.
The former Geordie Shore revealed yesterday that she had given birth to a baby boy who she welcomed with boyfriend Casey Johnson.
The reality star ended up having to be induced in order to deliver her newborn, as the little one ended up arriving 12 days after her due date.
Revealing the news to OK! Magazine, a representative for the TV star said, “Marnie gave birth to a beautiful baby boy yesterday afternoon. Mother and son are both doing well.”
And now the new parents have shared the first photo of the little one, with dad Casey taking to his Instagram page to upload a sweet snap of his baby son holding his finger.
'Where do I start,' he captioned the snap, 'after 28 hours of labour my strong amazing princess @marns delivered our gorgeous little man on the 29th October at 4:20pm 8.1!!!
'My beautiful baby boy was born,' gushed the new dad. 'I can’t even describe my emotions right now, it’s been a long journey ( 10 months ).
'Watching the person you adore in pain is not nice but the gift we both have right now just wipes away all the bad moments through labour. I literally sit and stair at him non stop with Marnie, he’s the start of our family, he’s so cute!!!!
'Again I wanna say thank you to everybody who has messaged me it means a lot the support has been absolutely amazing,' added Casey. 'Marnie you have done so well you grew this human inside you and boy did you do it perfect and the right way. I love you Marnie thank you for being my baby mumma, you KILLED IT ❤️🙏🏻'.
Marnie, who announced her pregnancy back in April, revealing the news to OK! Magazine, recently gushed about becoming a mother, taking to her Instagram page to express her excitement at the time building up to welcoming her first child.
‘O M G,’ she wrote to her 3.5 million followers, alongside a snap of her and boyfriend Casey posing in a mirror while the then dad-to-be had his hand resting on his partner’s bump.

‘39 weeks pregnant wtf!!!’ she continued. ‘1 week (hopefully) and I will become a mother, and @caseycodyj will become a father and we’ll become a family and I’m so freakin excited!!!
