Meghan Markle recently travelled to South Africa as part of the Sussexes first tour as a family, and fans are loving a previously unseen video of the Duchess taken during the trip.
- Meghan Markle was in South Africa for one week, alongside husband Prince Harry and little Archie.
- The Duchess delighted fans with several sweet moments during the tour, and they’re also loving this resurfaced video of her ‘trying on’ a crown.
- This follows royal news that master Archie will feature in a documentary about the trip alongside his mum and dad.
The Duchess was very busy during the week-long trip attending several events and meeting different people, but she still had time to stop and chat to the supporters who came to see her.
During one of those occasions, one fan surprised her by filming her while using a ‘crown filter’, which added a flowery crown to the person being filmed.
When she noticed it, Meghan clearly thought it was amusing and laughed at the camera, before chatting to someone else – how sweet!
The trip to South Africa was extra special for Harry and Meghan as it was the very first time they did a royal tour as a family of three.
After the end of their visit, the Sussexes shared an adorable video where all the highlights of their visit were compiled.
Alongside it the caption read, ‘The Royal Tour to Southern Africa has come to an end, but The Duke and Duchess have had the opportunity to look back on an incredible 10 days through South Africa, Botswana, Angola and Malawi. Thank you for following along!
‘Their Royal Highness’s journey took them 15,000 miles across southern Africa where they we’re greeted by so many amazing people along the way. They witnessed the great partnership between the UK and Africa, met local community groups, leaders, and youth and elders, who all imparted knowledge and inspiration.
‘On their final day of the tour, The Duchess said: “Please know that you have all given us so much inspiration, so much hope – and above all, you have given us joy.”
