  • The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shared a sweet post on their joint Sussex Royal Instagram account yesterday, sending Halloween wishes to followers.

Beside a photo of the couple enjoying some frightening festivities during their 2018 New Zealand tour, a caption urged royal fans to stay safe and enjoy the spooky event.

The pair even revealed that they have an adorable Halloween themed nickname for their five-month-old first born son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor.

The post read, ‘Happy Halloween! 👻 “Wishing you all a safe and fun Halloween from our family (and our little pumpkin 🎃) to yours!” – TRH’.

Of course, lots of the royal’s supporters took to the comment section beneath the upload to write kind messages.

Happy Halloween for all three! 👻 Have a great time with your “little pumpkin” 👶🏼🎃❤,’ said one.

While a second added, ‘How incredibly fun! I hope you are enjoying this Halloween, all three of you 🎃🖤🎃🖤.’

Meanwhile, others were desperate to see the parents’ little one dressed up for the scary occasion.

Would LOVE to see Archie in his costume. ❤️,’ remarked one, while one more chipped in, ‘I hope Archie has a fun little custome!! he must look so adorable! 😍 Happy Halloween!! 👻.’

    My THOUGHTS Exactly😀,’ agreed another.

The cheerful post comes weeks after Duchess Meghan admitted that she is struggling with the press attention surrounding her and Prince Harry.

In the ITV documentary Harry and Meghan: An African Journey, the new mum explained that she is “not okay” amid the pressure of stepping into the royal spotlight.

Speaking to journalist Tom Bradby, she said, “Look, any woman especially when they are pregnant you’re really vulnerable and so that was made really challenging, and then when you have a new born.

“And especially as a woman, it’s a lot. So you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed it’s, well…

“Also thank you for asking, because not many people have asked if I’m okay. But it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.”

We hope Harry, Meghan and their little pumpkin had a great first Halloween together!
