Michelle Keegan has revealed she gets ‘frustrated’ when people ask her when she will start a family with husband Mark Wright.
The 32-year-old has been married to the TOWIE star for four years, so it’s not surprising that she’s often questioned about their baby plans.
However, Michelle has hit out at the pressure to start a family, saying she feels ‘frustrated’ that people keep asking her when she’ll have a baby.
‘It’s horrible. It’s like, ‘You’re 32. Are you not planning to have a baby yet?’ People don’t know if we’re trying’, she told The Sun.
‘They don’t know the background of what’s happening. It’s no one else’s business. In this day and age you shouldn’t ask questions like that.’
‘I get so frustrated. I’m asked purely because I’m a woman. But I’m immune to it now – it’s like a reaction and as soon as I hear it I brush it off, as it’s no one else’s business.’
The actor has also previously spoken candidly about their relationship, revealing that she took back control by sharing less on social media.
Talking the The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine, she said: ‘I know there’s interest but I just thought: “I’m not feeding it any more”.
‘And by stopping that, we’ve taken back control. Massively. It was relentless every week – especially because we lived away from each other.’
Back in 2017, the Our Girl star opened up about starting a family with Mark – but only when the time is right.
She told The Sun: ‘We always say we both want to have kids, definitely, start a family. But when the time is right.’
The former Corrie star also revealed to Women’s Health that she wants a big brood.
‘I love kids and I want four. So hopefully in the near future’, she revealed.
