Myleene Klass opens up on difficult labour, revealing she ‘lost five hours’ during ‘complicated’ birth
Myleene Klass has opened up on her difficult labour after welcoming her baby son Apollo.
The mum-of-three, who welcomed her youngest child earlier this month, has spoken about the complicated birth of her third child.
‘My waters broke and I was in the birthing pool,’ she told HELLO! Magazine. ‘We had a really easy first three hours, to the point that I thought we would all be home by 7pm. But I don’t remember what happened next.
‘I lost five hours of my life,’ she continued, ‘and it was a pretty complicated birth in the end.
However, she added: ‘Suddenly Apollo was here and you forget everything. My body felt pretty invincible.’
The singer went on to explain how she and partner Simon Motson picked the two-week-old’s unique name.
‘Apollo is the god of music and science – my two passions,’ she said. ‘We thought it was such a strong name and at 8lbs 5oz, he was a strong, bouncing boy.
