Pippa Middleton shares rare update about son Arthur

Pippa Middleton has shared a rare update about her baby son Arthur, eight months after he was born.

Kate’s sister welcomed her first child with husband James in October last year, and has kept a very low profile since then.

However, she’s now revealed that she’s taken up a new hobby with her little man – baby yoga.

According to the Daily Mail, she said: ‘Arthur spent most of the class trying to escape from my yoga mat, chewing on the foam block, and practising the cobra on his tummy.

‘However, I'm sold on the benefits of baby yoga — and wish I'd tried it sooner.’ And it’s not the only hobby Arthur has taken up so far – Louis’ little cousin has also been into swimming from a young age.

‘Starting my son Arthur swimming at four months old has given him confidence and enjoyment in water’, she wrote in her Waitrose magazine column.

‘He's now six months old, and swimming is one of our favourite activities. The exercise helps guarantee sound daytime sleeps, and the movement has improved his digestion... Water activity is a great form of exercise you can do with your baby.’

As Kate and Pippa have always been very close, we wonder if the Duchess has also taken little Louis along to baby young or a swimming lesson with his cousin!

Arthur is also cousins with Spencer Matthews and Vogue William's son Theodore, so he definitely has lots of little buddies in his family that are close in age for him to play with.

Pippa and James announced they were expecting their first child back in June.

They welcomed their first son in October 15th – curiously the same day Meghan and Harry announced they too were expecting.

At the time, a spokesperson told HELLO!: ‘James and Pippa have had a baby boy. He was born Monday 15th October at 1.58pm, weighing 8lb and 9oz. Everyone is delighted and mother and baby are doing well.’
