Primark is launching a pet wear range for dogs and cats – and it’s adorable

Primark has announced a budget-friendly range of dog outfits, cat collars and toys – and it’s got fans very excited.

It’s an exciting time for canine fashion. The last few months have already brought B&M’s Baby Shark onesies and Game of Thrones jumpers for dogs into our lives. But now things are getting really exciting because Primark is getting in on the act.

That’s right – as part of its latest drop, the budget fashion brand is releasing three complete outfits, plus a harness and chew toys, for dogs, and a range of collars and toys for cats, with prices starting at just £2.50.

The adorable dog costumes have already been making waves on social media, with more than 6,000 fans taking to the Money Saver Online Facebook page to leave excited comments. With outfit options including unicorns, bumblebees and hotdogs, each priced at a purse-friendly £7, there’s something for every style-conscious pooch.

‘We need to hurry up and get a dog,’ wrote one user. ‘Look at the unicorn one!’

‘Ooooh Carolyn,’ another Facebook fan added, tagging a friend. ‘Our little hot dog could literally be a hot dog!’

Bored of your tired old dog harness? A baby blue number complete with wings will give your pup’s wardrobe a whole new lease of life for the bargain price of £4. ‘Omg !!!!!’ another fan exclaimed. ‘I’m loving the unicorn and blue one, I feel a photo shoot coming on!!!!!!!’

A few cat owners wondered whether the outfits would fit their feline friends too. ‘Reckon I could stuff one of the cats into these?’ one mused.

If not, a stylish new cat toy or collar might make them feel a bit better. Cat collars will be available in baby pink and grey for just £2.50 each, with cat toys costing £4. Dog collars will also be on sale in hot pink and black for £4 each, alongside a small range of £4 toys.
