Prince Harry has reportedly made a big lifestyle change, following the news that his wife Meghan is pregnant with their first child.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they were going to become parents earlier this week, and since the news came out it's been reported the expectant dad has made a big lifestyle change to support his pregnant wife.

Prince Harry is said to have ditched the booze in support of Meghan – who is likely following NHS advice that states the safest approach for expectant mothers is not to drink at all during their gestation.

A royal source told the Sun: ‘Meghan obviously cannot drink during her pregnancy and Harry wants to be there to support her.

‘When they are in London, they have been spending more nights in together as he cannot go out drinking with friends like he used to.’

In his days as a bachelor the prince was known for his love of partying, so we bet he's probably missing the occasional tipple - and we bet Meghan is too, just like most pregnant women.

The former actress has also previously opened up about how alcohol fits into her diet and lifestyle. Speaking to Best Health in 2015, she said: ‘Of course, I’m going to have that glass of wine - it’s delicious and I enjoy it.

‘Do the things you enjoy within reason. Know your body and what works for you and you’ll be fine.’

The couple are currently on a royal tour of Oceania, and Meghan has revealed how she's been feeling about her pregnancy so far.

A royal fan who spoke to her said: 'Meghan told me that pregnancy was like having jet lag. She said she was up at 4.30am this morning doing yoga in her room as she couldn’t sleep.’

‘It’s a bit of a double whammy for her, she said, as she has both the baby and jet lag to contend with.'
