'Is it mine?' Prince Harry jokes he didn't know about Meghan's pregnancy

Prince Harry Meghan Markle

Prince Harry, known for his fun and cheeky personality, often brings a smile – and perhaps even a chuckle – to the people he meets on royal engagements.

The Duke of Sussex is currently in Morocco with wife Meghan, and the pair have been very busy on what is thought to be the expectant mum’s last official engagement before she welcomes her baby in a few weeks.

During their trip, the couple visited a boarding house that supports girls’ education and the secondary school the children attend.

While speaking to teachers at Lycée Collegial Le Grand Atlas, who congratulated Meghan on her pregnancy, Harry couldn’t resist making a joke.

When a woman said: ‘I wish to say congratulations for your pregnancy’, the Duke replied: ‘What, you’re pregnant?’

The joke was met with laughter around the room, and then he added: ‘Is it mine?’ Oh Harry…

As they visited a classroom, Meghan also joked: ‘It’s been a while since we both been in a classroom.’

During the visit, Meghan was treated to a traditional Moroccan henna tattoo by one of the students, which is intended to bring luck to her first child.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s visit to the country, aiming to support girls' education and strengthening links with the UK, started on Saturday and will last three days.

The trip is thought to be Meghan’s last work engagement before she starts winding down to start her maternity leave.

Usually royals take around six months off when they have a baby, so this could be the last time we see Meghan in an official capacity for a while.

As it’s still not known if she will follow in Kate’s footsteps and have her baby at London’s Lindo Wing, it’s unclear if official pictures of the new mum, dad and royal baby will be released after she gives birth.

We’ll have to wait and see…
