Master Archie to appear in new royal tour documentary alongside parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left royal fans swooning when they brought their four-month-old son, Archie, out for his first public appearance during their recent tour of South Africa.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan introduced baby Archie to Archbishop Desmond Tutu on the special day, sharing a series of gorgeous photographs and video clips from the moment on their Instagram account, Sussex Royal.

Although the Sussex family have now returned to the UK, it seems that we may be seeing more of the royal tot.

This is because Prince Harry and the Duchess are reportedly set to star in a documentary filmed during their trip.

ITV newsreader, Tom Bradbury, shared a message to Twitter to confirm that he had been working on the project.

He wrote, ‘Just finished filming a documentary on Harry and Meghan in Africa.

I think it will explain a lot when it airs.

Despite the announcement, there is no say yet on when it will air or on which channel.

Meanwhile, Hello! magazine have reported that Archie is likely to feature in the documentary.

Reports of this new documentary come after Prince Harry has slammed the British press for their treatment of his wife.

In a statement released this week, he confirmed that he is taking legal action against newspaper the Mail on Sunday after a private letter sent from Meghan to her father Thomas Markle was published.

Comparing the ‘relentless’ and ‘painful’ media coverage to that his mother Princess Diana experienced before she died, he wrote, ‘I’ve seen what happens when someone I love is commoditised to the point that they are no longer treated or seen as a real person.

I lost my mother and now I watch my wife falling victim to the same powerful forces.

There is a human cost to this relentless propaganda, specifically when it is knowingly false and malicious, and though we have continued to put on a brave face – as so many of you can relate to – I cannot begin to describe how painful it has been.’
