Prince William has opened up on being a dad to three children.

The Duke of Cambridge shares three children with wife Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, who he married back 2011.

The royal couple are parents to six-year-old Prince George, four-year-old Princess Charlotte and one-year-old Prince Louis.

But Prince William has reportedly admitted to finding it difficult to juggle his three children around everything else going on in his busy life.

The Duke is said to have made the relatable confession while at a fundraising campaign dinner for London’s Air Ambulance Charity.

He reportedly spoke candidly about parenting when talking to musical legend Eric Clapton, who himself is a father to five children.

According to HELLO! magazine, the pair were talking about their favourite hobbies that they like to get up to in their spare time, when the Prince admitted that whenever he gets any spare time he likes to use it to sleep.

When the musician asked Prince William about the hobbies he likes to get up to, the royal reportedly answered, “With the children it’s quite hard to get the time off, adding, “Any free time I do get I sleep!”.

And it seems like the Duke has had trouble finding time to sleep for a while, as this isn’t the first time he has spoken out about it.

Earlier this year, the royal’s younger brother Prince Harry welcomed his first child and Prince William acknowledged the occasion by congratulating his brother on joining the sleep deprivation club.

Speaking to journalists about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcoming baby Archie in May, Prince William said, “I’m very pleased and glad to welcome my brother to the sleep deprivation society that is parenting”.
