Princess Charlotte turned four-years-old this week, and Prince William has revealed his daughter’s 'rowdy party' plans.
The Duke of Cambridge, while speaking to children‘s author Julia Donaldson during her CBE investiture ceremony, shared his daughter’s plans for her special day.
Speaking to ITV News, Julia Donaldson revealed afterwards that William candidly discussed Princess Charlotte’s birthday plans – and it sounds like she made the most of her celebrations!
She revealed: ‘He said it’s his daughter’s birthday today and he loves the book. He reads my stories to his children, and he said he was going to have quite a rowdy party – he’s got a lot of children (coming).’
And, by ‘rowdy’, the young royal is expected to be eating a serious amount of birthday cake, and dropping some dance moves.
Of course, four-year-olds know how to party – and Prince William has previously mentioned: ‘My daughter Charlotte loves dancing’.
The little one has already started dancing lessons, according to her mother Kate.
To mark the birthday festivities, Kensington Palace’s released three stunning photographs of Charlotte – and you can see even more of her cutest ever pictures in our feature on Charlotte’s most adorable moments.
The photographs were shared with royal fans on social media, alongside the pictures the caption read: ‘The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share three new photographs of Princess Charlotte ahead of her fourth birthday tomorrow.’
The new pictures were taken by her mother Kate in their Norfolk country home, Anmer Hall.
Harry and Meghan, expecting their own child any day now, replied to Kensington Palace Instagram post wishing the Princess a Happy Birthday.
The couple wrote: ‘Happy Birthday Charlotte! 🎂🎈Lots of love, H and M xo’.
Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, also shared kind birthday wishes to the little one on the Kensington Palace Instagram account, writing, ‘A very Happy Birthday to Princess Charlotte, who turns four today🎈🎂.’
